PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute an indoor unit of an air conditioner to be installed on a ceiling, so that the indoor unit can be visually recognized whether it is in operation or not. SOLUTION: A lighting portion 26 lit during an operation is disposed on a casing 20 of the indoor unit 1. The lighting portion 26 is exposed to an indoor space along a supply opening 14.
