PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary stop confirmation device excelling in confirming a temporary stop state at the temporary stop of a vehicle and capable of confirming the temporary stop state after the event. SOLUTION: The temporary stop confirmation device configured to confirm the temporary stop state of the vehicle at the temporary stop of the vehicle, has a vehicle speed sensor 100 serving as a travel state detecting part for detecting the travel state of the vehicle 1 and outputting a travel state signal 101 of the vehicle 1 (the output of the vehicle speed sensor); a control part 200 generating a temporary stop state signal 230 of the vehicle 1 based on the travel state signal 101 and outputting the temporary stop state signal 230; and a transmission part 300 transmitting the temporary stop state of the vehicle 1 to a driver of the vehicle 1 based on the temporary stop state signal 230 from the control part.
