PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair which enables a user to put legs in a space between the chair and a desk easily and places buttocks of the user on the upper surface of a seat body easily when the user is seated in the chair with the seat body housed below the top plate of the desk by oscillating a leg supporting post forward. SOLUTION: The chair 1 which is installed in the back of the desk 10 fixed on a floor includes a front leg supporting post 4 and a back leg supporting post 5 pivotally supported to oscillate forward and backward relative to a base 3 fixed on the floor and a backrest 7 fixed on the post 5. The seat body 9 oscillated relative to the axial center 12 in the lateral direction is pivotally supported at the upper end of the post 4 and is coupled to the upper end of the post 5 in a manner to slide in the front-back direction.
