PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide footwear having a certain directionality when paired to be neatly aligned only by a pair of footwear, and securing a coupling strength without increasing displacement. SOLUTION: The footwear includes coupling means for partial surface-to-face coupling of one of side surfaces of the pair of footwear articles adjacently aligned, the coupling means includes sheetlike coupling portions fixed on only one of side surfaces of the footwear articles, and the coupling portions include longitudinally staggered single female and male areas which are coupled only by male and female combination.
