PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and compact optical camera shake correction device by simplifying a mechanism structure. SOLUTION: A camera shake correction lens 1 which is moved in a direction orthogonal to an optical axis for correcting camera shake is engaged respectively with ion conductive actuators 4a-4d arranged in a plurality of directions within the same plane orthogonal to the optical axis of the camera shake correction lens 1 through engagement parts 3a-3d, and both ends of the ion conductive actuators 4a-4d are supported respectively by a base part 5 to be horizontally movable relative to the plane orthogonal to the optical axis of the camera shake correction lens 1. When camera shake is detected in a camera shake quantity detection part, voltage to be applied to the ion conductive actuators 4a-4d is controlled to change the respective curving quantities, whereby the camera shake correction lens 1 is moved within the plane orthogonal to the optical axis thereof to correct the camera shake.
