<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer and a printing method using an ultraviolet curing liquid which are free from wastefulness and troublesomeness associated with faulty printing. <P>SOLUTION: When printing form of the ultraviolet curing liquid jetted to a printing medium 1 by a liquid jetting device 12 is the predetermined one, the ultraviolet curing liquid is irradiated with ultraviolet rays by an ultraviolet irradiation device 13, is cured and fixed, whereby printing is completed. When the printing form of the ultraviolet curing liquid jetted to the printing medium 1 is not the predetermined one, the ultraviolet curing liquid jetted to the printing medium 1 is removed by a removing device 9 and then restored to the liquid jetting device 12, whereby the ultraviolet curing liquid jetted to the printing medium 1 is removed before it is cured by the ultraviolet rays, and also the printing medium 1 from which the ultraviolet curing liquid is removed is fed to the liquid jetting device 12 and printed again, so that the wastefulness and the troublesomeness related to the faulty printing are eliminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
