PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience for selecting a channel of a scrambled broadcast signal. SOLUTION: When a card detector 28 detects that a removable IC card 41 for canceling scrambling of a broadcast program is loaded in a broadcast receiving device 100, a CPU 10A reads from a memory 10B scramble information indicating a logic channel over which a scrambled program prestored in the memory 10B is broadcast.
