PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact rotary tool capable of accurately detecting impact vibration in spite of environmental changes. SOLUTION: The impact rotary tool is provided with an impact mechanism for striking on the basis of power of a motor, an impact vibration detection section 3 for detecting impact vibration, a transmission structure for transmitting the impact vibration generated on the impact mechanism to the impact vibration detection section 3, a control section 17 for controlling the motor on the basis of the impact vibration detected by the impact vibration detection section 3, and a temperature sensor 21 for detecting temperature of the transmission structure. The impact vibration detection section 3 makes frequency characteristics used to detect the impact vibration change on the basis of detection results of the temperature sensor 21.
