POWERTRAIN SYSTEM FOR HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powertrain system of a hybrid electric vehicle without generating any problem related with costs, packaging and the complexity of a structure even when the hybrid electric vehicle is provided with an active control 4WD system.

SOLUTION: A crank motor (torque-producing machine) and a planetary gear train 46 biases torque between a primary driveline 26 and a secondary driveline 22 of a vehicle. A planetary gear (first element 50) of the planetary gear train 46 is connected to an upstream side crank motor. A ring gear (second element) 54 of the planetary gear train 46 is connected to the secondary driveline 22. A sun gear (third element) 48 of the planetary gear train 46 is connected to a biasing motor (torque-producing biasing machine) 20.
