<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard coat film including a high hard coat layer having a higher refractive index than a base material film and having no uneven interference, an optical film having high antireflection performance and suitable of mass production, an optical film having excellent uneven interference preventive property, and a sheet polarizer and an image display device including the optical film. <P>SOLUTION: The optical film includes a hardening layer, which contains low refractive index fine particles and curable resin, whose film thickness is 1 μm or more on a transparent plastic film base material, wherein the refractive index of the curable resin is higher than that of the transparent plastic film base material by 0.03-0.30 after curing, and the low refractive index fine particles are unevenly distributed on the base material surface of the transparent plastic film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
