<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel organic electroluminescence (EL) material emitting blue light with excellent color purity, and to provide an organic EL element using the organic EL material. <P>SOLUTION: The organic EL element has one or a plurality of organic layers including a light emitting layer between a pair of electrodes. At least one layer of the organic layers contains a compound as expressed by the following general formula (1) independently or as a mixture. In the formula (1), R<SB>1</SB>-R<SB>7</SB>are selected among the group consisting of hydrogen, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkoxy group, a cycloalkoxy group, and an aryloxy group, and they may be the same groups or the groups different from one another, and A<SB>1</SB>-A<SB>3</SB>are selected among the group consisting of a phenyl group which is either substituted or unsubstituted and a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ring group which is either substituted or unsubstituted, and they may be the same groups or the groups different from one another. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
