<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a post-treatment in an in-line finisher being connected with a printer to be utilized without accompanying printing by the printer being connected with the in-line finisher, and also, to enable the setting of the printing specification to be prevented from being affected by the setting of the in-line finisher in the printer being connected with the in-line finisher as well. <P>SOLUTION: When an in-line job including a printing process using the printer of this printing processing system, and an after-treatment by an after-treating apparatus for a sheet which has been printed by the printing process is accepted, whether the in-line job is separated into the printing process by the printer and an off-line process wherein the after-treatment is performed by the after-treating apparatus is determined (S5 and S7). Then, the control is performed in such a manner that when no necessity of the separation is determined, the job is executed by the printing process and the after-treating apparatus as usual, and when the necessity of the separation is determined, the printing process corresponding to the off-line process may be performed (S10) by the printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
