<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling an electro-optic device, an electro-optic device and an electronic device, preventing the occurrence of flickering even in solid display by improving the balance of driving frequency between pixels of odd-numbered lines and pixels of even-numbered lines in interlace displaying an image. <P>SOLUTION: In the electro-optic device 100, a plurality of pixels 11 are arranged corresponding to the intersection of a plurality of scanning lines 3 and a plurality of data lines 6, and under the control from an interlace control part 50, among the plurality of scanning lines 3, an odd-numbered field for driving the odd-numbered scanning lines 3 and an even-numbered field for driving the even-numbered scanning lines 3 are alternately performed to display an image.
