PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open/closed type testing connection terminal that is easily detached from a distribution board terminal and reliably connected to the terminal without being removed therefrom by constructing a connection portion of the connection terminal to be open/closed. SOLUTION: The open/closed type testing connection terminal includes a pair of terminal bodies 5 connected in opposition to each other so that approximately circular engaging portions 4a, 4b formed at one-end sides of grip portions 2a, 2b clamp a screw rod 54 of the distribution board terminal 53 at a supporting point portion 3 formed on a middle between the approximately arched grip portions 2a, 2b, and a lead wire 58 electrically connected to the grip portion 2a. The engaging porions 4a, 4b have different sizes so that open/closed ends 6 of the engaging portions 4a, 4b deviate from a longitudinal center line CL between the grip portions 2a, 2b to one side.
