PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system LSI capable of appropriately controlling a reproducing device when being installed in an automobile without significantly impairing the operability of the reproducing device. SOLUTION: Dynamic scenario (program) such as Java (R) application, MovieObject is recorded in a BD-ROM 100 and a local storage 200. The dynamic scenario discriminates whether a reproducing device is audio only type or not by reading out profile information from a PSR 31 of the reproducing device. When it is discriminated as NO, an interaction screen is displayed. Such control is performed that a digital stream is reproduced in accordance with operation for interaction screen. When it is discriminated as the audio-only type, control reproducing the digital stream is performed in accordance with operation being not through the interaction screen.
