PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk technology performing a more stable readout operation by more secure address identification. SOLUTION: The disk device includes: a reading part reading reflected light from a disk and outputting a read signal; an extraction part extracting a wobble signal from the read signal from the reading part; a phase detection part detecting a phase of the wobble signal from the extraction part; an upper limit detection part detecting an upper limit signal of the wobble signal according to the detection result of the phase detection part; a lower limit detection part detecting a lower limit signal of the wobble signal according to the detection result of the phase detection part; an average value generation part generating an average value signal of the upper limit signal and the lower limit signal; a determination part determining the wobble signal with the average value signal as a threshold; a control part controlling the operation of the reading part on the basis of an address value according to the determination result determined by the determination part; and a decoder part decoding the read signal from the reading part whose operation is controlled and outputting a reproducing signal.
