PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load and cost, when creating a farmland section map. SOLUTION: Image data prepared beforehand is input, and edge data is extracted. Section data is obtained from the edge data. Section adjustment processing is performed and the section data is updated. Furthermore, part of section certainty degree data is acquired. Finally, the section data and the section certainty degree data are input, and section certainty degree determination processing is performed, for updating the section data and the section certainty degree data. In addition to the data in which graphical elements of the certainty degree are mainly input, colors and texture information are analyzed and detailed. By taking into consideration the arrangement in relation to surrounding sections, the form is partially corrected so that more natural data as a farmland map can be created. The section data and the section certainty data are the data targeted by this system, in which in addition to the simple and easy-to-use data of the farmland section, the value for self-determination as a guide, when checking them, is indicated as the certainty degree.
