摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image receiving sheet for heat-sensitive transfer recording in which reduction of glossiness, reduction in density and the discoloration of an image close to black into brown, and the generation of color unevenness upon printing under high moisture, are reduced or suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive transfer image receiving sheet is characterized in that: on the surface of a support, at least an intermediate layer, a heat insulation layer and a receiving layer are formed in order from the side of the support; the receiving layer contains at least one kind of polymer latex, and also contains a compound expressed by a general formula (I) or an inorganic salt; and further, a contact angle between the surface of the receiving layer and water after 2 seconds from standing of waterdrops measured based on a sessile drop method prescribed in JIS-R-3257 is &le;68 degrees or a contact angle after 60 seconds from standing of waterdrops is &le;28 degrees.
