摘要 <p>An Ncs set generation method and a random access preamble generation method are disclosed. The Ncs set generation method comprises the following steps that the upper limit value Ncs_max of the Ncs is determined according to a maximum cell radius which is required to be supported by a random access channel RACH, and an Ncs value which is less than or equal to the Ncs_max is selected and taken as an element in an initial Ncs set; the root sequence number Nr which is corresponding to every element in the initial Ncs set is calculated according to a formula Nr=é M/ëNpre/Ncsûù; the elements in the initial Ncs set which have the same Nr value withother elements are deleted so as to generate a screening Ncs set, all elements of which have different Nr values; N-P elements in the screening Ncs set are deleted so as to generate a final Ncs set if N, the number of the elements in the screening Ncs set, is more than P, the number of the maximum NCS which is supported by the system, else the screening Ncs set is taken as the final Ncs set; wherein, M is the preamble number which is required by every cell and Npre is the preamble sequence length.</p>
