<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter, capable of detecting with improved accuracy and reliability a minute flow rate such as gas leakage to a large flow rate in a usual gas use condition, while protecting a flow rate sensor from dust, without introducing the problem of pressure loss. <P>SOLUTION: In the gas meter, first, second, and third flow pathways are provided so as to partition a cross section of a primary flow pathway in a parallel direction and to divide a gas to be measured depending on a flow rate to flow into the pathways. While a flow rate sensor for measurement of flow rate is provided in the first flow pathway, having a small cross sectional area of the flow pathway, a flow rate sensor for measurement of gas leakage is provided in the second flow pathway, having a small cross-sectional area of the flow pathway. While a rectifying filter is provided at one or both edge sides of these first and second flow pathways, a foreign substance (dust) removing filter is provided, only at one or both edge sides of the first flow pathway. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
