<p>A method for pairing an external sensing emitter and a central monitor in a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) involves that each tire position information is provided on the central monitor. Corresponding sensing emitters are placed on tires. Each sensing emitter transmits learning information as it is mounted on the tire. After receiving the learning information, the central monitor identifies the sensing emitter which is transmitting such information. After above identification, the central monitor determines whether the last three bits of ID code of the sensing emitter match those of the ID code stored in the central monitor. If match, the sensing emitter and the central monitor are paired, and the complete ID code of the sensing emitter is stored. By combining the step of inputting the last three bits of sensing emitter ID code with the step of transmitting learning information, the method facilitates practice, reduces operation steps, and saves time.</p> |
