<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear body straightening apparatus capable of detecting whether a linear body is properly set and further whether straightening rollers suitably press the linear body. <P>SOLUTION: A linear body straightening apparatus 11 is provided with straightening rollers 21, an upper support body 22, and a control unit 51. The straightening rollers 21 press an electric wire 10 to straighten it and are supported by the upper support body 22. The control unit 51 controls the position of the upper support body 22, and is provided with a driving part 23, a control part 30, and a load cell 24. The driving part 23 is controlled by the control part 30 so that the upper support body 22 is moved to a prescribed position. The load applied to the electric wire 10 is detected by the load cell 24. The control part 30 monitors the detected value of the load cell 24, and when the detected value is out of a prescribed tolerance, determines that the load is abnormal and stops conveyance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
