PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building which serves as a wall-shaped building in normal times and has an application corresponding thereto, but serves as an enclosing-type building and an emergency toilet room in an emergency. SOLUTION: The wall-shaped building has a partition member and a wall-shaped member folded in a wall surface thereof. In an emergency (when necessary), these members are drawn from the wall surface, and developed as a partition and a wall, to thereby form the enclosing-type building. The partition member, the wall member, etc. may be unitized in order to facilitate use thereof as the newly constructed wall-shaped building, and at the same time they may be designed so as to use an existing wall surface when set. Further the partition member or the wall member may have a door stop member arranged thereon, and therefore not only the lockability and crime prevention performance of the building are enhanced but also the robustness as a building is enhanced.
