PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for assaying microarray hybridization by measuring the extent of the hybridization between a target sample and a probe. SOLUTION: This method for assaying the microarray hybridization comprises the processes of: providing the microarray formed with a plurality of the probes; hybridizing the plurality of probes with a random primer consisting of the target sample and a random sequence; linking the free terminal of each of the probes with one end of the probe side of the random primer; removing the target sample hybridized with each of the probes; and measuring the intensity of the remaining random primer.
