EL DISPLAY PANEL AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel structure capable of suppressing variance in threshold voltage due to the effect of internally scattered light.

SOLUTION: A structure for shielding the internally scattered light is used for the EL display panel having a pixel structure adaptable to an active matrix drive system. That is, a portion of a pattern of a metal wiring material above the channel layer of the thin-film transistor constituting a pixel circuit is so laid out as to shield the channel region of the thin-film transistor.
