<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for setting communication connection and a private branch exchange to carry out the method. <P>SOLUTION: A communication connection is set between calling communication terminals 2, 4 and 6 and other communication terminals 2, 4 and 6 belonging to a group in a communication network selected by a calling party dialing an allocated group telephone number. The other communication terminals 2, 4, and 6 are selected by an exchange unit 14 of the selected communication network by means of availability information, and the connection is initiated through the exchange of a start message and a plurality of connection confirmation messages between the calling communication terminals 2, 4, and 6 and the selected other communication terminals 2, 4 and 6. When all the communication terminals 2, 4 and 6 belonging to the group of the selected communication network are unavailable, the start message incoming from the calling communication terminals 2, 4 and 6 are transmitted to a virtual communication terminal 16 allocated to the group telephone number. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
