<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell catalyst layer excellent in methanol insolubility and proton conductivity, the manufacturing method of the fuel cell catalyst layer, and the fuel cell having the catalyst layer. <P>SOLUTION: The catalyst layer for the fuel cell is formed in such a way that the surface of a catalyst layer made of a conductive porous body coated with a catalyst for the fuel cell and ion conductive resin soluble in methanol is coated with a vinyl polymer composition containing a vinyl polymer A having at least one kind of crosslinkable group selected from the group comprising an epoxy group and isocyanate group protected with a protecting group, and a vinyl polymer B having at least one kind of crosslinkable group selected from the group comprising a hydroxyl group, a carboxyl group, and an amino group, and having an acidic group in which at least one of the vinyl polymer A and the vinyl polymer B forms a salt, crosslinkable groups of the vinyl polymer A and the vinyl polymer B react with each other, and then the salt is proton-exchanged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
