PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microchip making smaller a dead space or the like provided for holding a waste fluid. SOLUTION: The microchip is formed by laminating a first substrate having a groove provided on the surface of the substrate, and a second substrate, and has a fluid circuit formed by the groove and a first substrate side surface of the second substrate. The first substrate and/or the second substrate is provided with a projecting part for moving a fluid and/or air in a reverse direction to a gravity direction in the operation of the microchip, and the projecting part is provided near the end of a through-hole and/or an air hole.
