PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device for an antenna device capable of obtaining stable antenna characteristics by surely performing inspection, by using the antenna itself in consideration of influence of a metallic material, and to provide a method for inspecting the antenna device. SOLUTION: This inspection device for inspecting an antenna device comprises an antenna and a matching circuit for adjusting antenna characteristics which are provided to a magnetic member. The inspection device has a metallic member, a spacer with a predetermined thickness placed on the metallic member, and a measuring device for measuring an antenna characteristic.
