A corrugated-cardboard adhesive for preventing package stack crumbling which is characterized by comprising a mixture of a petroleum resin emulsion containing a mineral oil with a solution of a water-soluble resin. Examples of the water-soluble resin include polyvinyl alcohol, sodium polyacrylate, carboxymethyl cellulose, and hydroxyethyl cellulose. This adhesive for corrugated cardboards in a short drying time can come to produce the effect of preventing package stack crumbling. It causes no damage to the surface of the corrugated cardboards when the stack is taken apart to the packages.
