PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance productivity by shortening treatment time for discharge surface treatment while avoiding breakage of an electrode 5 arising when the electrode is held by an electrode holder 7. SOLUTION: The electrode holder 7 includes a holder body 9 with a screw hole 11 formed in its fore end face, and a fixing screw 13 which is detachably screwed to the screw hole 11 in the holder body 9. The electrode 5 includes a hollow cylindrical electrode body 27, and a body 29 to be mounted which is integrated with the electrode body so as to close a peripheral edge on a base end side of the electrode body 27 and pressed against the fore end face side of the holder body 9 by the fixing screw 13.
