The method involves arranging an intermediate plate (4) between a base (9) of a container (3) e.g. pan, and a work plate (1) i.e. induction cooking plate, where the intermediate plate is partially made of a ferromagnetic material. An electro mechanical induction source (2) is arranged below the work plate. An upper surface (5, 7) of the intermediate plate is polished, and formed in a planar and an even manner. An opening (10) and ends (11) are arranged at the intermediate plate for connecting handles (12) i.e. holder. The handles are formed from a wire or a flat material. An independent claim is also included for an intermediate plate.
