A metal instrument cluster and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve external appearance by applying special coating on an injected plastic material. A metal instrument cluster comprises a metal member, a front side film(300), a back side film, and light emitting devices(720,740,760,780,820,840). The metal member is provided with a display unit. The front side film is formed on one side of the metal member, and allows light to pass through. The back side film is formed on the other side of the metal member. The light emitting devices emit light toward the display unit from the back of the metal member. The display unit has a hole which is formed by removing a part of the metal member.
