FRAME RATE CONVERSION METHOD

A frame rate converting method is provided to predict a motion vector, thereby improving a frame rate by using the predicted motion vector. A previous frame and a current frame are inputted(S110). The difference of the current frame and the previous frame is calculated(S120). It is determined whether the frame is a transition type according to the difference(S130). When the frame is not the transition type, a predicted motion prediction method is performed(S140). Frame interpolation is performed by using the predicted motion vector(S150).
