A food trapping apparatus for a sink is provided to block the odor caused in the drain pipe and flowing back from the drain pipe because the dirt which is not filtered in the drain trap is collected and the dirt flowing in the drainpipe is block out. A food trapping apparatus(10) for a sink comprises a body(3), a primary partition(4) and a secondary partition(5). The body comprises a female coupler(1) and male coupler(2). The female coupler is prepared in one side of top of the body. The male coupler is prepared in the other side of top of the body. The male coupler is coupled with the drainpipe discharging dishwater of the sink. The primary partition is downwardly extended from the top of the male coupler at a certain length. The secondary partition is upwardly extended from the bottom of the male coupler. The top of the secondary partition comprises a filtering net(6) fastened on the top of the body. One side of the body is separated from a part of the body. One side of the body is made of transparent material. |
