A method and a system for decoding malicious script code are provided to detect or decode an encrypted malicious script code regardless a encryption method. A script is received(210). The received script as described above is analyzed(220). A hooking of the function used in script is performed(230). The hooked function as described above is used, so the script is performed(240). The decoded code is obtained. It is determined whether a self modulation function is included in the acquired result(250). It is determined whether the decoded code as described above is the malicious code(260).
