<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set up a security level for information generated in a business flow according to a progress status of the business flow in a business management system. <P>SOLUTION: The business management system 1 comprises; an information registration means 2 which registers essential registration information to an essential registration information item defined in advance to each stage along the flow of a business flow; a progress state management means 3 which manages a progress state of the business flow on the basis of the registration status of the essential registration information; and a security level setting means 4 to set a security level of the essential registration information according to the progress status. The business management system manages the progress status of a business and sets up the security level of the information to be managed according to the progress status. In managing the business progress status, the information item to be registered in each stage of the business flow is set up in advance, and by having information registered to the information item, the business is taken as progressed to the stage concerned.
