Disclosed is a highly functional polyether polyol having low viscosity, which is obtained by a dehydration condensation reaction of an alcohol. The polyether polyol can be obtained by dehydration condensing glycerin and a monohydric and/or dihydric alcohol at such a ratio that glycerin is more than 50% by mole relative to 100% by mole of the total of glycerin and alcohol. A crude glycerin obtained by hydrolyzing or alcoholyzing a natural fat or oil can be used as the glycerin. ® KIPO & WIPO 2009
