Disclosed are compounds of formula (I), wherein R1 represents -SO2NR102R103, -NR101SO2R104 or -COOR105, X represents a bond, -CH2- or -O-; Y represents -CH2-; ring A and ring B, which are the same or different, each independently represent benzene or an optionally substituted 5-6 membered aromatic ring; ring D represents optionally substituted piperazine or piperidine, and the remaining substituents are as defined in the specification. The compounds are CCR5 regulators useful in the treatment of HIV infections, immunological diseases or inflammatory diseases.
