A service transceiving method in a broadcasting communication system and a device thereof are provided to improve reception performance of a service transmitted to a fixed terminal from the broadcasting communication system. The number of zones where services provided from a broadcasting system are allocated is determined, and patterns positioned within a frame are determined(502). Parameter values including size of areas of the zones occupied in the frame, the number of services included in every zone, and the number of sub slices included in each service are determined(504). The determined parameter values are transmitted to a control channel(508). The frame is configured by using the control channel and a service channel.
