Compositions comprising a VLP and IL-15 protein

Disclosed is a composition comprising: (a) a virus-like particle (VLP) with at least one first attachment site; and (b) at least one antigen with at least one second attachment site, wherein said at least one antigen is an IL-15 protein, an IL-15 mutein or an IL-15 fragment and wherein (a) and (b) are linked through said at least one first and said at least one second attachment site, and wherein said IL-15 protein comprises an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of: (i) SEQ ID NO: 22; (ii) SEQ ID NO: 23; (iii) SEQ ID NO: 24; (iv) SEQ ID NO: 25; and (v) an amino acid sequence which is at least 80% identical with any of SEQ ID NOs: 22-25. Further disclosed is a process for producing the composition, and uses if the composition in the production of vaccines for the treatment of inflammatory and chronic autoimmune diseases.
