<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding head for a strapping machine of a type having a feeding assembly and a chute. <P>SOLUTION: The binding head 12 includes a body 24, and an anvil 26 which is attached to the body and movable. A sealing member 54 for excitation motion is arranged in the anvil. A driving apparatus is connected to the sealing member 54 so as to be operable in order to provide the excitation motion to the sealing member. A first passage binding material and a second passage binding material are located on the top and the bottom, respectively, in the vicinity of the sealing member 54.
