OPTICAL TRANSMISSION MODULE, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING OPTICAL TRANSMISSION MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the interference to a light emitting and receiving point of a liquid conductive material while making miniaturization and low height.

SOLUTION: An optical transmission module 1 includes a film light guide 2 for transmitting light; a light emitting and receiving element 3 including a light emitting and receiving face 3a optically coupled with light transmitted to the film light guide 2, and formed with a light emitting and receiving point 3a having photoelectric conversion function on the light emitting and receiving face 3a and an electrode pad 3b; a substrate 6 mounting the light emitting and receiving element 3 and electric wiring 5; and an electric connection member 8 electrically connecting the electrode pad 3b and the electric wiring 5. The substrate 6 has an exposed face 7a where the electric wiring 5 is exposed. The electric connection member 8 is composed of a solidified object of a liquid conductive material arranged so as to be brought into contact with the electric wiring 5 exposed on the exposed face 7a and the electrode pad 3b. A projection 9 protruded to the light emitting and receiving face 3a is provided between the electrode pad 3b and the light emitting and receiving point 3a.
