PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker with new structure which can effectively control the occurrence of smoke caused by oil and fat generated by cooked food being heated and use a wide range of a cooking top panel as a cooking surface. SOLUTION: A periphery groove 30 where water that receives the oil and fat generated from the cooked food is retained is installed on the outer periphery side of a periphery wall 26 of a top panel holding section 14 that supports the cooking top panel 12 equipped with the cooking surface 16 on which the food to be cooked is placed above the heat source 48.
