PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood cloth having a technical functional edge and a styling edge. SOLUTION: A solid element comprises at least a bent portion or an indentation, and cloth is designed to be stretchable over at least one solid element, the cloth overstretching the solid element is deformed by suitable clamping devices such that the cloth substantially follows the contour of the bent portion or indentation in the region of the bent portion or indentation.
