PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for accurately complementing traffic information on a road whose traffic information is not provided in an on-vehicle navigation device, because a conventional on-vehicle navigation device acquires information on congestion etc. characteristic of a junction based on the traffic information acquirable from an external device or the like, and estimates the traffic information on the road whose traffic information cannot be provided based on wide range traffic information in some cases, namely hardly reflects the traffic information characteristic of a specific junction whose congestion is presumed. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle navigation device has a means that traces a road in a direction for entering each junction, acquires traffic information on a series of traced roads, and complements the traffic information on the road which is in the direction for entering the same junction and whose traffic information is not provided.
