1. A method for representing and solving arithmetic equations with a virtual gear system by executing computer-executable instructions stored on a non-transitory computer-readable medium, the method comprises the steps of:
(A) providing a plurality of terms and an at least one numerical constant as equal sides of an algebraic equation, wherein each of the plurality of terms includes a coefficient and a variable; (B) providing a virtual primary cog and a plurality of virtual secondary cogs, wherein a plurality of teeth on the virtual primary cog is quantitatively greater than the numerical constant; (C) associating each of the plurality of virtual secondary cogs with a corresponding term from the plurality of terms, wherein a plurality of teeth on each of the plurality of virtual secondary cogs is quantitatively equal to the coefficient of the corresponding term; (D) displaying an enmeshment of each of the plurality of the virtual secondary cogs to the virtual primary cog on a graphic user interface (GUI); (E) visually indicating an origin tooth amongst the plurality of teeth on the virtual primary cog through the GUI; (F) visually indicating a target tooth amongst the plurality of teeth on the virtual primary cog, wherein the target tooth is quantitatively offset from the origin tooth by the numerical constant; (G) identifying a current tooth at a fixed pointer, wherein the current tooth is any one of the plurality of teeth on the virtual primary cog; (H) receiving user inputs to align the target tooth at the fixed pointer by prompting to execute a plurality of rotations with each of the plurality of virtual secondary cogs through the GUI, wherein the plurality of rotations with each of the plurality of virtual secondary cogs quantitatively represents the variable of the corresponding term; and (I) quantitatively identifying the plurality of rotations with each of the plurality of virtual secondary cogs as a potential solution for the variable of the corresponding term. |
