<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the detection sensitivity of partial discharge of a main circuit apparatus molded with an insulating material. <P>SOLUTION: An insulation monitoring apparatus is provided with main circuit members such as vacuum valves 6 and 11 constituting a switch gear; insulating layers 7, 12, and 15 provided by molding the main circuit members with an insulating material; a ground plane 22 provided for the outer circumferential surfaces of the insulating layers 7, 12, and 15; an electrode 24 for detection in contact with the outer circumference of the ground plane 22; and a detector 26 having a detection means connected to the electrode 24 for detection for detecting partial discharge. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
