<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate material conveying device capable of attaining enhancement of a plate material conveying speed and shortening of an acceleration/deceleration time by making a retaining unit arrangement body compact, enhancing conveying efficiency of a small plate material, and easily performing control of the retaining unit arrangement body. <P>SOLUTION: The retaining unit arrangement bodies 19, 20 having a plurality of plate material retaining units 23A, 23B, 23C for retaining the plate material are provided on two traveling bodies each independently traveling along two tracks. The respective retaining unit arrangement bodies 19, 20 are constituted by fixed parts 19a, 20a and movable parts 19b, 20b. The movable parts 19b, 20b are made position-changeable to an approaching position relatively approaching relative to the fixed parts 19a, 20a and a leaving position left from it. In the state that the movable parts 19b, 20b of both the retaining unit arrangement bodies 19, 20 are positioned at the approaching positions, arrangement of the plate material retaining unit of one retaining unit arrangement body 19 (20) is made approximately same as arrangement of the plate material retaining unit of the other retaining unit arrangement body 20 (19). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
