<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grip for preventing a putting mistake caused by an excessive movement of the wrist in putting or muscle rigidity. <P>SOLUTION: The golf putter grip has an increased thickness (maximum width of 40 mm or more), an increased length (approximately 440 mm), and an increased weight (350 g or more), so that when a stroke is performed holding an intermediate part of the grip, an accurate stroke having a prevented wasteful movement of the wrist is allowed by counter balance effect for controlling the movement of a putter head even if the grip is gripped gently. In addition, when used for a short putt requiring directionality prior to the feeling of distance, the tip end of the grip is held and the butt end of the grip is brought into close contact with the lower arm (about the elbow), so that the wrist is completely secured to make a stroke, and thus, excellent straight putting stroke is allowed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
